Permissions and Invitation Letter
A formal letter of invitation will be provided upon request to the participants requiring the permission of their employer to attend the congress. The invitation letters facilitate participation in the congress and do not imply any commitment on the part of the organizer to provide any financial support. For the purpose of visa applications and other official procedure Letters of Invitation can be provided by the Organizing Committee. Invitation letters will be provided only for registered participants who have paid the full registration fee.
Registration and Information Services
The registration and information desks will be serving to the participants in the Congress Venue and Congress Hotels during the Congress.
Certificate of Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be presented to all registered attendants during the Congress.
Name Badges
Name badges will be distributed at the registration desks. Name Badges must be worn to enter scientific sessions, exhibition areas and all social activities. Participants without badges will not be admitted to the congress activities.
Exhibition Area
Exhibition area will be available during the congress.

There are two International Airport in Antalya; Antalya International Airport and Gazipasa – Alanya Airport

Airport Transportation
Roundtrip airport transportation for the participants will be organized. Taxis are are available from airport to reach congress venue. Car rental companies are also located at Antalya and Gazipasa International Airports.
Banks & Currency Exchange
Local banks are open from 08.30 to 17.00 hours from Monday to Friday. They are closed at weekends and at public holidays. The Turkish Lira is the official currency of Türkiye. Foreign exchange offices may be found throughout the country. Operating hours are mostly Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00. There are 7/24 open exchange offices in the arrivals section of airports. Also, the exchange offices located in shopping malls and touristic areas are open later and on Saturdays.
Credit Cards
All major credit cards (Visa, Master Card) are widely used and accepted in Türkiye by restaurants, hotels, shops and at the Congress Registration Desks. ATMs can be found all around the country. All of them offer foreign language options and pay out Turkish Liras and some Foreign Currency.
Visa Information
All participants are required to possess a valid passport while traveling to Türkiye. Citizens of some countries are required to obtain visa before arrival from the Turkish Embassy or Consulate and some may obtain e-Visas via the website www.evisa.gov.tr before arrival. The most updated visa information can be received from the website of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Foreign Affairs; www.mfa.gov.tr
Time Zone
Antalya falls in the Eastern European Time Zone. Eastern European Standard Time (EET) is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+2).
Electricity & Voltage
Türkiye electrical system operates on 220 volts, 50 Hz, with round-prong European-style plugs that fit into recessed wall sockets.
Insurance
The congress organizers cannot accept liability for any personal injuries sustained, or any loss or damage of property either during or because of the congress. Please ensure that you have full coverage in your personal insurance policy.

Weather
The climate of the province is typical Mediterranean: hot and dry in summers and temperate and rainy in winters. Sunshine is guaranteed from April to November and the winters are pleasantly mild. The humidity is a little bit high, about 64%, and the average water temperature is 22 °C. Antalya is really a heavenly place where the summer season is about 8-9 months long. Evenings could be chilly therefore delegates are therefore recommended to bring light coat.
Driving License
International Driving Licenses are recognized throughout Türkiye. Car Rental Companies ask for a valid driving license and sometimes 3 years of driving experience.
Tipping
Tipping is not mandatory in Türkiye. However, it is customary to add 10% in restaurants if you are satisfied with the service.
General Terms and Conditions
The registration for the congress and the confirmation thereof forms a contract between the congress attendee and the ESH and THD regarding attendance at the congress. This contract is based on the following General Terms and Conditions.
Registration Fees for the 16th European Congress of Hypnosis
Attendance at the congress is subject to a registration fee. Registration for the congress and booking of services (such as Hotels, transfers, tours etc.) are binding for the attendee. The fees must be paid in advance on the dates specified. Any bank charges will be charged to the payer.
Please note that once you have booked either a registration fee or a hotel room, it cannot be changed anymore and is binding. Please double-check your booking before completing your registration.
Programme Changes
The ESH reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the programme at short notice. There will be no pro rata refund of registration fees for cancelled papers or changes to the programme.
Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation, please notify us in writing only. A full refund minus a service charge of EUR 75 will be given for cancellations received by 21 April 2023. After 21 April 2023, no refunds will be given.

Force Majeure
For reasons beyond its control (such as war, strikes, lockouts, riots or any such civil disturbances, any acts of God, including but not limited to earthquakes, floods, droughts and typhoons and any other cause of circumstance of whatsoever nature beyond control) that have an impact on the arrangements, timetables or planning of the 16th European Congress of Hypnosis and its corresponding activities, ESH and THD have the right to immediately alter or cancel the activities or events or any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating directly or indirectly thereto. No party involved shall be entitled to any compensation for damages that result from such alteration or cancellation.
